Your car is constantly exposed to the elements, environmental contamination, road grime and general wear and tear.  This will affect the look of your car over time.Think of polishing your car as an exfoliation of the paintwork. Taking off a very fine layer of contamination and imperfections to give you back the gloss and shine it once had.

There can be multiple steps involved in polishing depending on the quality of finish you are looking for. Most cars only require a one stage polish to achieve a great finish, whereas cars with more imperfections may require 2 or more stages if required.
